NDSU Lands Multi-Million Dollar Award To Fight Cancer
NDSU lands major funding in the continued fight against cancer.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded over $2 million to the university.
It will use the money to establish a Center for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Strategies in Pancreatic Cancer.
The award is the first portion of an expected five–year project.
In a statement, Senator John Hoeven said “It’s important that we invest in programs and research that will help us beat this disease.”
