Truck Drivers Blamed for Twelve Car Crash on I-29
Truck drivers involved in a chain reaction accident on I-29 are cited.
The accident happened Monday afternoon in Pembina County near Bowesmont.
It involved a dozen vehicles including five semis and two patrol vehicles.
Four people were slightly hurt.
North Dakota State Patrol Lt. Troy Hischer says the crashes could have been avoided if drivers had paid attention to conditions and travel alerts.
He says four truck drivers were cited for care required.
Additional charges are possible for others involved in the collisions.
