Red River Valley SWAT Arrests Man in Hawley for Incident in Moorhead on Halloween

HAWLEY, Minn. (KVRR) — A soft lockdown for Hawley Schools and Lake Agassiz Educational buildings as Red River Valley SWAT make an arrest.

They carried out a search warrant at a home in the 700 block of 10th Street in Hawley around 2 Wednesday afternoon.

A 40-year-old Hawley man was arrested for an incident that happened in Moorhead on Tuesday night.

SWAT was called in due to the nature of the incident on Halloween.

He was taken to Clay County Correctional Facility.

The name of the suspect and nature of the incident will be released once formal charges are filed.
