Two People Claim Hefty Powerball Prizes in North Dakota, Want to Remain Anonymous

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — Two lucky Powerball winners in North Dakota have claimed their six-figure prizes.

An anonymous woman from Dickinson had checked her ticket and thought she had won $600 in the October 7 drawing.

But when she arrived at the lottery office, she realized it was actually worth $150,000 due to Power Play.

She said a bit of a shopping spree was in store before returning home.

Another Powerball with Power Play winner from Belcourt claimed his $100,000 prize from last Saturday’s drawing.

He also chose to remain anonymous and said once the check is in the bank, ways to spend it will come to mind.
