GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A postal service facility review has determined that the Grand Forks Processing Facility will remain open and it will be modernized.

But some mail processing operations will be moved to Fargo.

A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at noon at Alerus Center.

USPS will share the results of the study and they want feedback from the public.

You may submit written comments at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/mpfr-grand-forks-nd through Dec 21, 2023.

They say that public input will be considered prior to a final decision.

The postal service is investing heavily in efforts to modernize the aging postal network with a goal of 95% on-time delivery nationwide.
