Empowering Women, FMWF Chamber of Commerce series

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Empowering women in the Fargo-Moorhead area is the main focus of the Chamber of Commerce’s monthly series of events. The Women Connect series aims to target the needs, development and connection of professional women in the region.

“We find it really important to provide conferences like this to expose our women to new opportunities in ways they can develop their leadership within their organizations, within the community,” said Brin Braathen, the director of programs with the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo Chamber of Commerce. “Because, when we empower people in our community, it makes our community better.”

They all met at the Armory Event Center in Moorhead to make connections with one another. With the Chamber providing a space to motivate and empower women.

The next event is set for December 19.
