Minnesota Department of Transportation Invites Public to Name this Years Eight Snowplows
MINNESOTA. (KVRR) – Back by popular demand, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is inviting the public to help name another round of eight snowplows.
The eight plows will be named by each of Minnesota’s eight district’s.
Each person is limited to one submission and the DOt asks to please remember to keep the submissions clean.
Past winners include names like Betty Whiteout, Plowy McPlowFace, Blader Tot Hotdish and The Truck Formerly Known As Plow.
Voting opened today at noon and will close on December 15th on MnDOT’s website.
“We have hard working men and women out there all winter long so if this gets people thinking about snow plows differently and maybe thinking about safety when they’re out there driving during the winter, we’ll take that win as well.” Said MnDOTS’s Anne Meyer.
MnDOT staff will review all entries and select finalists for the public voting round in January.
