Police: Man Found Dead in Ice House on Norcross Lake Died of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

WHITE EARTH RESERVATION (KVRR/KFGO) — Authorities believe that an ice fisherman died of carbon monoxide poisoning on Norcross Lake on White Earth Reservation.

White Earth Police Department says 37-year-old Nathan Ray of Borup was found unresponsive in a fish house Saturday and died at the scene.

Officers are reminding anglers to have a carbon monoxide detector in their ice shelter and keep vents clear.
