Maddock Woman Killed In Crash With Semi on Tuesday Is Identified

BENSON CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A woman killed in a crash in Benson County on Tuesday has been identified.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says she was 67-year-old Janice Elder of Maddock.

Highway Patrol says Elder disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of Highways 19 and 281 and was hit by a semi around noon.

The 46-year-old semi driver from Minnewaukan has minor injuries.

The fatal crash happened about three miles north of Minnewaukan.

The crash remains under investigation
