ST. PAUL (KVRR) — One of the two Democrat U.S. Senators from Georgia is headed to Minnesota.

Sen. Raphael Warnock will headline the DFL Party’s 12th Annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner.

It’ll take place on Friday, March 15 at St. Paul Rivercentre.

Warnock is a senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.

He was first elected to the Senate during a special election in 2021 and won a full term in 2022 during a general runoff election defeating Republican Herschel Walker.

DFL Chairman Ken Martin says Warnock has been a champion for justice, fairness, and equal opportunity since long before he entered politics.
