Pet Connection: Meet Sokka, the Puppy Picasso

Sokka is a playful pup with an artistic side in this week's Pet Connection from Homeward Animal Shelter

We’ve got a special Pet Connection this week for Giving Hearts Day. Sokka joins us from Homeward Animal Shelter. He’s a 2-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix. He’s super cuddly, loves people and loves to play. He does have to be the only pet in a home, but he’ll bring tons of love for whoever is lucky enough to welcome him into their home.

He’s also a budding artist. Sokka brought his very own painting to share with us. He’s one of 16 dogs at Homeward who made a painting to raise money for Giving Hearts Day. You can bid on all of the paintings by clicking here. You can also see them in person at Three Dog Bakery at 465 32nd Ave. E. Suite B, West Fargo until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8th.

Homeward is also hosting a Giving Hearts Day open house with free tours at its shelter at 1201 28th Ave. N. in Fargo. That goes until 7:00 as well.
