FARGO, N.D., (KVRR)-Pancakes, bounce houses, and all of it for charity. What can beat that? The 66th annual Pancake Karnival hosted by Kiwanis was hosted on the floor of the Fargodome.

For only 10 dollars a person, people were able to enjoy pancakes, sausage, and kids were able to enjoy multiple bounce houses.

This event helps fund nonprofits throughout the area and was only possible due to the support from volunteers. Nate Renner, Pancake Karnival Chair, said, “Another really good part of the event is seeing all the volunteers, seeing everybody come out from the community and want to help out.”

Renner also said, “We have people requesting, getting a hold of us months in advance saying “hey, where do I sign up, I love helping out at this event” and its just great to get to see everybody’s involvement in this.”

In total, over a ton of pancake batter and over a thousand gallons of syrup were used for the event.
