Cass County Sheriff’s Office Vehicle Hit On I-94

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Cass County Sheriff’s Office squad vehicle is damaged while responding to a pursuit.

A deputy was on the way to assist North Dakota Highway Patrol around 7 a.m.

The deputy was heading west on I-94 near Mapleton nearing the traffic stop location when the squad was hit from behind.

There were no injuries.

The deputy had emergency lights activated at the time of the incident.

The driver was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
