State Hockey Tournaments Come to Fargo Thursday

The NDHSAA Boys and Girls Hockey Tournaments Are Set To Begin This Week

FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota High School Hockey is quickly approaching it’s grand finale for the 2023-24 season. Both the boys and girls state tournaments will take place this week.

On the guys side, Dickinson is the top seed out of the West… They will meet the defending State Champ, South-Shanley. The Red River Roughriders are the two seed out of the east; they’ll take on the Bismarck Century. Grand Forks Central won the EDC tournament last night and come in as the top seed from the East; they’ll play Bismarck Legacy. At the bottom of the bracket, the Minot Magicians are the two seed in the West they take on the 3 seed out of the East, Fargo North Spartans. Dickinson and Fargo South will be the first game of the tournament with a 12:00 PM puck drop on Thursday, January 22nd.

In the girls bracket., West Fargo United comes in at the one spot, they will play Bismarck Century. In the 4/5 matchup, the Grand Forks Red River / Central Knight Riders will faceoff against the Davies Eagles. On the bottom half of the bracket, the number two seeded Fargo North-South Spruins will play seven-seeded Devils Lake. The final matchup will be between Mandan who comes in as the third seed against Bismarck Legacy/Century who is the sixth. West Fargo United and Bismarck will be game one of the state tournament Thursday at 11:00 AM.
