North Dakota High School Basketball Regional Roundup 2/20

REGION 1 AND 2 TOURNAMENT SCORES AND HIGHLIGHTS.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)– The road to State continues with the Region One and Two Tournaments Quarterfinals taking place on Tuesday. In the Region One Tournament, 4-seed Northern Cass defeated 1-seed Kindred in an upset, 67-61. In game number two, 2-seed Valley City defeated 3-seed Wahpeton in a nail-biter, 62-60. Scout Woods was called for an offensive foul in the final seconds for the Huskies as they attempted to tie the game.

The Championship will be Wednesday night with Northern Cass and Valley City tipping off at 20 minutes after the conclusion of the 6 P.M. third place game: approximately 7:45 P.M. tip off.

 

Meanwhile in the Region Two Tournament, 1-seed Thompson continued their undefeated season beating 4-seed Four Winds/Minnewaukan, 54-34. In the other semifinal, 2-seed Devils Lake defeated 4-seed Carrington, 54-39.

 

The Championship game will be Thursday night with Thompson and Devils Lake tipping off 20 minutes after the conclusion of the 5:30 P.M. third place game: approximately 7:15 P.M. tip off.
