Bail Set at $1 Million For Man Accused of Killing His Own Brother

ELBOW LAKE, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Bail is set at $1 million for the Elbow Lake man accused of shooting his brother.
30-year-old Connor Grytdahl is charged with second-degree murder for the Sunday night shooting death of 33-year-old Stephen Grytdahl at their home.
The complaint says the sheriff’s office received a 911 call from Connor who said he shot his brother after he came at him aggressively during an argument.
Law enforcement’s initial search of the home did not reveal any signs of a struggle, and the location of the shell casing was not consistent with Connor’s version that the deadly shot was fired in the hallway.
He remains in jail in Breckenridge.
