LIVE: Fargo Film Festival Returns to Downtown

FARGO — It’s the biggest week of the year coming up for movie fans in the metro.

That’s because we’re just a few days away from the opening of the 2024 Fargo Film Festival.

This year’s lineup includes two different Oscar nominated films, and a horror movie starring one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood right now.

Sydney Sweeney (“Euphoria,” “The White Lotus”) is fresh off a Saturday Night Live appearance.

She’s the lead in a new film called “Immaculate.”

She plays a nun who joins a convent in Italy where strange things happen.

One of the film’s producers is the keynote guest speaker at the festival.

The Fargo Theatre’s Sean Volk joined the Morning Show to talk about this year’s biggest and best offerings, the in-depth facetime you’ll get with people from Fargo’s and the nation’s film industry, and what he’s most excited about this year.
