Grand Forks man jailed after police pursuit, crash in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – A Grand Forks man is in custody for fleeing and child endangerment after police say he fled a traffic stop and crashed with a seven-year-old child in the car.
Minnesota State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says a state trooper tried to make the traffic stop just after midnight in Moorhead. That’s when the driver took off, with the trooper pursuing for a short while before discontinuing.
Grabow says the vehicle driven by 26-year-old Arkeem Hudson crashed into another vehicle at Main Avenue and 24th Avenue South.
No one was injured.
Hudson is in the Clay County jail on an outstanding warrant and other charges including fleeing a peace officer and child endangerment.
The case remains under investigation.
