Crash Kills Two South of Wahpeton
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says around 9 p.m., a pickup was southbound on a gravel road (182nd Ave. SE) when it started to drift across the northbound lane.

Wahpeton, N.D. (KFGO) – A 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man are dead following a crash south of Wahpeton Saturday night.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says around 9 p.m., a pickup was southbound on a gravel road (182nd Ave. SE) when it started to drift across the northbound lane.
The driver over-corrected and lost control.
The pickup went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on the passenger’s side.
The patrol says neither occupant was using a seat belt and both were ejected.
They died at the scene.
Their names have not been released.
At this time, it is unknown which occupant was driving.
The crash remains under investigation.
