Fargo Man Arrested After Short Pursuit Near Casselton

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man was arrested after ramming a squad car and a short pursuit involving North Dakota Highway Patrol and Cass County Sheriff’s Office near Casselton.

Deputies located 32-year-old Jordon Wichman in the noon hour after a report of a man possibly under the influence of drugs and having a mental health crisis.

Wichman was taken into custody after trying to drive through a ditch off I-94 near County Road 9.

He was medically cleared and booked into jail for fleeing, reckless endangerment, preventing arrest and driving under the influence of narcotics.
