Red River Valley Fair opens alongside new agriculture building

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – It’s that time of year again, a time for food, fun and rides at that Red River Valley Fair.
The Fair held their grand opening on Friday, and will run for the next three weekends.
They also celebrated the opening of their new Ag Education building, which will be a year round feature at the fairgrounds, offering a chance for people to learn about the region’s agricultural industry.
It also features a new immersive experience room, where people will be able to interact with their ag education experiences.
“I guess the easiest way to describe it is to say that we’ve got virtual reality without the headset. So it’s actually the room that is the immersive space. So we’ve got 360 content, whether it is videos or images or CGI.” Sarah Armitage of Immersive Reality said.
The ag education building already hosted its first field trip just after the end of the ceremony.
