Juliana Pelaez
Multimedia Journalist
Juliana grew up in Chicago. She attended Wartburg College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism. During her time at Wartburg, Juliana reported for Knight Vision News and was the Culture and Diversity editor for The Trumpet newspaper.
She later attended DePaul University, where she earned her master’s degree in journalism. At DePaul, Juliana anchored and reported for Good Day DePaul. She also was a production assistant for two stories on WTTW Chicago Tonight.
In her free time, Juliana likes to listen to the Rotten Mango true crime podcast, listen to music, playing games, and venturing out into town.
