The Wait Is Over: 52nd Avenue South Project To Sheyenne Street Reopens

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — People in Horace, far southwest Fargo and southern West Fargo are rejoicing after a major road construction project finishes.
Crews removed the barricades late Saturday afternoon on the 52nd Avenue South project between 63rd Street and Sheyenne.
Work started last fall to urbanize this section of road and included replacing the bridge over the Sheyenne River and redoing the roundabout.
Pedestrian access will remain closed on the south side until underground utility work is finished.
The project is being paid for through federal, Fargo, West Fargo and Cass County funds and special assessments to the homeowners in the area.
