Man Arrested After Gun Incident And School Lockdown Monday in Devils Lake

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KVRR) — A gun incident that sent a Devils Lake school into lockdown on Monday was centered on a nearby house.

Police say Joseph Gleason refused to come out of the house near Sweetwater Elementary School.

The incident started early in the morning and ended around 1:30 in the afternoon when Gleason was taken into custody.

He is booked into Lake Region Law Enforcement Center for burglary, terrorizing and reckless endangerment.

No one was hurt.
