Rauschenberger Announces Run For Re-Election As Tax Commissioner
Say's He's Working With Addiction Counselor And He Has "Dramatically Improved"

BISMARCK, ND — He has battled an addiction to alcohol but that isn’t stopping Ryan Rauschenberger from running for another term as North Dakota Tax Commissioner.
Just last September Rauschenberger was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol content more than two times the legal limit.
Under a plea agreement, he was given a suspended jail sentence and put on probation for one year.
Rauschenberger took a leave of absence during his last campaign in 2014 to enter alcohol treatment.
He says he has “dramatically improved” his health and is working with an addiction counselor.
