Vining, MN Man Has “Crushing” Injuries After He Is Trapped Under Tractor

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A Vining, Minnesota man is at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo after a tractor he was pulling drove over him and pinned him to the ground.

The accident happened just before noon in Folden Township southeast of Vining.

Otter Tail County authorities say 76-year-old Daryl Baardsen was working on or attempting to pull the tractor with a pickup when the unknown accident happened.

He had to be pulled from underneath the tractor and has what they called “crushing” injuries.

Baardsen was conscious and alert when he was being life flighted to Fargo.
