Two Crookston Men Join Three Others Arrested Last Month in Online Child Sex Sting

POLK CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Polk County Sheriff’s Office takes two more men into custody in an online child sex sting operation.

They arrested 23-year-old Joseph Thompson and 34-year-old Trey Soder, both from Crookston.

They join three other men arrested last month in a sting conducted by the sheriff’s office and Minnesota BCA.

They included: 53-year-old Telesforo Ragrag from Thief River Falls, 21-year-old Kaden Marquart from Grand Forks and 45-year-old Mark Olson from Twin Valley, Minnesota.

The undercover chat operation identified 45 suspects who were soliciting kids for sex online from the U.S. and Canada.

The investigation is ongoing.
