Tokio, North Dakota Woman Accused of Running Over Man Is Indicted

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Tokio, North Dakota woman makes her first federal court appearance after being indicted for backing over a man with three kids in her car.
A grand jury indicted 30-year-old Tierra Scott for involuntary manslaughter and three counts of child neglect in Indian country.
Scott is accused of being under the influence on August 17 when she hit the man and ran him over at residence in Fort Totten.
He was later pronounced dead.
Officers say Scott had drugs in her possession while driving recklessly with three kids in the vehicle.
