Red River Valley Band Receives Gift From Fargo VFW

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — “It’s really wonderful to be able to play the same concert several times in a row within a very short period of time because the band gets so much better by the time we get to the end. And we were good when we started, but they’re even better by the time we are done with the tour. And that is carried by the rest of our concerts this last month,” said Keith Wander, Band Director of Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band.

The Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band performed for the second year at the Fargo VFW.

With over fifty members in the band, the band was only able to have half perform.

This year they were honored a gift of $1,000 by the VFW 762 to continue supporting veterans with their music.
