West Fargo Businessman Will Run For Mayor

Bernie Dardis was the CEO of Indigo Signworks, a company where he still serves as a consultant.

WEST FARGO, ND — Community leader and businessman Bernie Dardis announced he will run for mayor of West Fargo.

Dardis was the CEO of Indigo Signworks, a company where he still serves as a consultant.

He grew up in Killdeer, North Dakota and graduated from NDSU, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.

Dardis has served on a number of areas of boards and committees, ranging from West Fargo Economic Development advisory committee to North Dakota Republican Party.

In a release, Dardis said, “I simply love this city, I’ve lived here for 41 years. My wife and I raised a family in West Fargo. Having been a first hand witness to the unprecedented growth of our city, I believe my experience, knowledge and passion for this community will serve our city well.”

Current West Fargo Mayor Rich Mattern announced in December that he will run for re-election.
