Teen Arrested in Sister’s Stabbing
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Police say a 16-year-old boy is being held on attempted murder charges Monday after he stabbed his adult sister in the stomach Sunday afternoon.
Grand Forks police say they responded to the stabbing report in the 800 block of Duke Dr. around 5:36 p.m. Sunday.
They say their initial investigation revealed the teenager stabbed his sister during an argument, then fled on foot.
A third party took the woman to the hospital with injuries that are unknown but believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police say they found the boy and arrested him without incident.
He’s being held in juvenile detention on suspicion of attempted murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
