Skydiving Museum Opens in West Fargo
The museum's founder says the goal of the museum is to showcase skydiving memorabilia and get more people interested in the sport.

WEST FARGO, N.D. – Interested in learning about the tradition of skydiving in the F-M area? Well, now, there’s just the spot for you.
The North Dakota Skydiving Museum just opened in West Fargo on Main Avenue.
It was created by Megan Solberg, daughter of Donald J. Solberg, who was perhaps the most important person in the history of skydiving in Fargo.
The museum is packed with memorabilia from Donald’s 60 plus years of aerial exploits, including medals, jackets, photos, and home videos.
Event organizers said the purpose of the museum was to inform about the history of skydiving in the area, and to get more people interested in the sport.
The event featured a grand prize giveaway drawing, as well as treats, such as cookies in the shape of parachutes.
