LIVE: Golden Drive for Homeless Kids prepares for Giving Hearts Day

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — With Giving Hearts Day just over the horizon, one local charity is working to make sure that kids in our region have all the necessities that they need.

Golden Drive for Homeless Kids is working to provide shelters, schools and families with food, hygiene products and underwear for kids.

They say they’ve already recieved 18,000 boxes of mac and cheese to distribute to food pantries around the area.

And kids who have been helped have come back to the program to give back to those in need.

“At one point we were all singing before they left. Now that was just glorious, it was. And they just wanted to come back to the West Fargo Rural Fire Department, which we’re fortunate to use, to just help again.”
