DEVILS LAKE, Minn. (KVRR) — The city of Devils Lake says people should boil their water before using.

The issue went into effect Monday afternoon.

They’re potential health risks to the water supply after the city had a water main break due to the cold weather.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes or food preparation.

If you are mixing baby formula, use bottled water only.

Devils Lake Public Works says they will notify you when the boil order is over.
