Richland School District Superintendent Tim Godfrey Removed From His Position
School Board made The Decision To Place Godfrey On Paid Administrative Leave

COLFAX, N.D. — Richland 44 School Board has placed Superintendent Tim Godfrey on paid administrative leave.
Junior and Senior High Principal Bruce Anderson did not know the reason the board made the decision to place Godfrey on leave.
Anderson will fill his role for the duration of the leave.
School Board President Lisa Amundson released the following statement: “Earlier today I placed Supt. Tim Godfrey on paid administrative leave effective immediately.
For the duration of the leave, Mr. Anderson will be handling the superintendent duties with assistance from the board as needed.
Please direct any questions or concerns to Mr. Anderson or myself.”
Godfrey came under fire after an investigation was conduction at the school for hazing and sexual assault by five male students.
Two weeks ago charges were recommended against the juveniles for 13 counts of hazing and 11 counts of sexual assault.
None of the students are currently attending class or any extracurricular activities.
The offenses were investigated by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and the BCI.
