Fatal crash near Northwood, North Dakota

GRAND FORKS COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — A man from Hatton, North Dakota is dead after a crash near Northwood.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 9:30 Wednesday morning at Highway 18 and 4th Avenue Northeast.

A truck driven by a 16-year-old boy went through the intersection and hit the car driven by a 66-year-old man.

Both vehicles went into the ditch.

The teen was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim died at the scene.
