Man Involved In Deadly Hit-And-Run of Bicyclist in Downtown Fargo Appears in Court

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The man accused of hitting and running over a bicyclist in downtown Fargo last month appears in court for an arraignment.
42-year-old Jeremy Jorgenson of Hawley, Minnesota is charged with one count of duty in accident involving death.
Bond was set at $7,500.
Jorgenson is accused of hitting 61-year-old Bernd Scholz of Fargo while he was on his bicycle at the intersection of NP Avenue and 10th Street North around 8 p.m. on March 12 and then fled the scene.
North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Jorgenson will be back in court on May 29.
