Minor-injury crash spreads corn across Richland County road

RICHLAND CO., N.D. (KVRR/KFGO)– North Dakota Highway Patrol says it was just a minor injury two-vehicle crash, but it left quite a mess.

A semi hauling grain and a pickup collided northwest of Wahpeton at the junction of Richland County Roads 81 and 8.

Sheriff Gary Ruhl says it happened shortly before 9:30.

Grain was spread for some distance and the intersection was closed for a time.

Ruhl says there were minor injuries, but no one asked for medical assistance.

Highway Patrol is investigating.
