Motorcycle crashes claim the lives of two male riders in separate incidents in North Dakota

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Two young men are dead in separate motorcycle crashes on Saturday.

A 25-year-old man from Cavalier, North Dakota died when he rolled his motorcycle on southbound I-29, about 3 and a half miles south of Pembina.

That crash happened around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

The rider was not wearing a helmet.

Earlier in the day, around 11:30, a 23-year-old Minot man died after crashing his motorcycle in Minot.

He was also not wearing a helmet.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says the rider was speeding before he lost control and crashed.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
