MINNEAPOLIS (KVRR) — A now former Bison football player was arrested in Hennepin County last week for theft.

Jail records show William Frattalone was booked into Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis on Friday morning.

No other details about his arrest have been made public and he is not yet listed on the court calendar.

NDSU Head Football Coach Tim Polasek said in a statement, “William Frattalone has been dismissed from the NDSU football team for a violation of team rules. He was not part of the 123 players for fall camp and will not be considered to re-join the team in any fashion.”

Frattalone transferred to NDSU from Northern Iowa but did not play in any games last season.
