Man dead after motorcycle crash on I-94

Barnes County, N.D. (KVRR) — A man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle on I-94 Wednesday.

The crash occured near mile marker 298 just before 6 P.M. North Dakota Highway Patrol say the man lost control of the motorcycle, and lefte the roadway crashing into the median.

The driver, a 66-year-old man from Paynesville, Minnesota was not wearing a helmet, and died from his injuries on the scene. The passenger, a 39-year-old woman was also not wearing a helmet. She suffered injuries, and was transported for medical treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
