Protestors gather near West Acres to rally for worker’s rights

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Protestors gathered along 13th Avenue South to express their concerns about labor rights and the Trump administration.
The protestors gathered near West Acres Mall, about a mile away from where a similar protest took place last Friday.
Protestors waved at cars when they honked, and even took time to talk with people curious about the reasons for the protest.
“We are here celebrating, rallying for Labor Day in support of the workers in our country. Because their benefits are being cut, their wages aren’t going up. The working class is not better off since a certain someone got into office promising all kinds of things that never happened,” said a protestor who gave the first name of Susan.
The event was organized by 50501FargoMoorhead and is part of a nation-wide day of protest.
