Bonding with Their Brothers: 4th Annual Movember for Men’s Hewith the NDSU SAEs
FARGO — Life in a fraternity is about bonding with other men.
And one NDSU fraternity is taking that message to the greater community to help protect the health of the men you love.
It’s their annual Movember fundraiser, a journey on foot from Grand Forks to Fargo, all to raise awareness of men’s health issues.
It focuses on mental health and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer.
Local SAEs say it’s been a great way to have important conversations and connect with their brothers.
It also helps spark dialogue with parents, professors, and other members of previous generations, who sometimes weren’t raised to talk about the struggles men can face with their health.
Today is World Suicide Prevention Day, and SAE brother Ian Hogness and SAE President Tyler Walden joined the Morning Show to kick off the fundraising campaign and to talk about why it’s so important to get other men talking about their health.
