Legendary KVRR horror movie show host “Madd Frank” dies at the age of 85

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The man who hosted a popular horror movie show on KVRR in the 1980s and 1990s has died.

Delray “Madd Frank” Dvoracek died Saturday, October 11 at Fargo Elim at the age of 85.

A celebration of life service will be held on November 7 at 2 p.m. at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo.

Visitation will begin one hour earlier at 1 p.m.

Burial will happen at Fargo National Cemetery.

Dvoracek hosted his television show, “Madd Frank Presents”, on what was then called Red River TV from 1985 until around 1995.

A documentary about Madd Frank was released in 2016 and directed by Mike Bredon.

“Madd Frank Presents Madd Frank” blended original footage and modern day interviews, according to IMDB.
