Fatal Shooting Investigation: Fargo man arrested in Barnesville

UPDATE: Around 10:45 a.m., Levi Larteh, 26, Fargo, was arrested at a gas station in Barnesville by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest was made very shortly after probable cause was established. Larteh was booked into the Clay County Jail with a charge of Murder.

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city’s south side Monday night.

The Fargo Department says officers responded to a shooting report at an apartment building in the 2700 block of 41st Street S. around 9:30 p.m.

That’s where they say they found the man with a gunshot wound.

Authorities took the victim to a hospital where he died about 45 minutes later.

Investigators believe the suspect and victim knew one another.
