Coyote sightings reported in Breckenridge, MN

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (KVRR) — Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office is warning people in Breckenridge about a number of recent coyote sightings in the city.

They say there have been reports of coyotes approaching people and pets.

There have been a number of sightings near Bois de Sioux Golf Course.

The sheriff’s office, Breckenridge police and Minnesota DNR are working with landowners to address the incidents and ensure public safety.

You can report any unusual or aggressive animal behavior to any one of the entities.
