Hunt to remain in custody after he waived detention hearing in brother’s murder case

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Spirit Lake Reservation man charged in federal court with the murder of his brother will remain in custody in Grand Forks.
D’Angelo Hunt waived today’s detention hearing.
The 26-year-old is charged with second-degree murder of his brother, 28-year-old Isaac Hunt.
Isaac was reported missing in March of 2024.
His remains were found during another extensive search near their father’s home near St. Michael just over a week ago.
D’Angelo’s family says he has had significant mental health struggles.
