SWAT team assists in Moorhead high-risk, no-knock search warrant arrest

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) –A Moorhead man is arrested during a high-risk, no-knock search warrant.

The Red River Valley SWAT Team assisted the Moorhead Police Department and the Metro Street Crimes Unit at an apartment building in the 1900 block of 18th Avenue South around 4 p.m.

They arrested 43-year-old James Schaan. He was taken into custody without incident.

Schaan was arrested on outstanding warrants from Clay County for Attempted Theft and from Hennepin County for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

He was taken to the Clay County Jail.
