WEST FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – Former Cass County Emergency Manager and North Dakota Highway Patrol Superintendent, Jim Prochniak, announced he is running for Cass County Commission.

“I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Cass County Commission, not only representing District 4, but all Cass County citizens.”

Cass County District 4 largely includes the City of West Fargo. Prochniak says his emphasis will include public safety, strategic infrastructure and transportation needs, economic vitality for business, fiscally responsible government, and support for senior citizens and veterans.

“With my experience as the leader of a state agency and an involved leader in Cass County government, I look forward to applying those skills to the
county commission by making informed and credible decisions for the citizens of Cass County.”
