Woman killed by ICE in Minneapolis identified

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — Minneapolis officials have named the woman shot by an ICE agent as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.
She was shot in her vehicle in a south Minneapolis neighborhood this morning. Minneapolis officials say Good appeared to be in her vehicle alone.
The shooting happened around 9:30 a.m. in the area of East 34th Street and Portland Avenue. Good died at the hospital.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is calling the shooting an “act of domestic terrorism.” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has called out the claim that the shooting was self-defense for the ICE agent as “bullshit.”
Governor Tim Walz says he has issued a warning for the state’s National Guard and they are prepared to be deployed, if necessary.
